Ah, 2018: what a year of travel!

In 2018, where did the OutspokenTraveler venture? In chronological order:

• London, Charlotte Street Hotel, UK for New Years.

• Fort Lauderdale, February.

• Aruba, Manchebo Bay Hotel and Resort, March.

• Big Sur, California, Ventana Inn, April.

• St. George’s, Utah, May.

• Lisbon, Lapa Palace, Portugal, June.

• (We do not like to travel during peak summer season…people act like human locusts devouring the beauty as they go. Is that snobbery or wisdom?).

• Bermuda, Elbow Beach, September.

• QM2, St Lawrence Riverway, Maine/Canada, October.

• Paris, France, Le Regina Hotel, November.

• Central Europe by private train, Golden Eagle Danube Express, post-Christmas through New Year.

• Prague, Four Seasons Gresham Palace Hotel, January.

2018 was the most we have ever traveled.

A gift. But more goes with it than mere flying, spending, eating, touring. It’s the inhalation of another world than the one we live.
