On April 10th, 2020, my wife, Nadine Caputo left the earth; it was the 12th anniversary of the day we met.
In our time together, among the many things that bound us so closely, was a hunger for travel and the yet-to-be-known experiences each trip would bring — every time.
We traveled in the same way Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire danced — graceful, practised, delighted. Except this Ginger? She led, not me.
My name in Gaelic is “wise counselor/ senior elf.” I have been blessed to not only be able to travel, but have the necessary skills to enjoy every moment, know how to expect and handle the inevitable unknowns and be as openhearted as possible. Everyone knows travel can be the real magic, but it is also about loving where you are and who you are with.
For OutspokenTraveler the mission is simple: share the good, confront the lackluster, challenge the norm, inform and help people make great, unforgettable adventures in travel.
