The end of summer heather.

If you can find the beauty, run at it.

Traveling outside of the USA has been part of my life since I was five. (Held in my mother’s arms, I touched the Mona Lisa; I think screwed it up for everyone, sorry.)

This urge, this compulsion, has increased dramatically since Covid. And people on all sides question my…capriciousness? Wastefulness? Indulgence?

Or is it just because it’s something I love and thankfully, can afford to do it in spring and summer. Sating the endless curiosity. Seeking the human or nature moment.

But I’ve come to realize, it has something to do with a question I once asked myself: how much beauty can my eyes take in in this lifetime?

Great example. And they wonder why I keep coming back to #ireland? All this beauty…one walk. One 3.5 mile walk. I was stunned.

Just to be clear, one of the most beautiful places I know of is in the cushy chair on my front porch in Philadelphia…
